I’ve had a passion for language and culture ever since I can remember. Born to an American mother and an Italian father, I was fascinated by the blend of cultures and languages that I witnessed within my own family.

Because of this, I began studying Italian from an early age. My passion led me to major in Italian at Georgetown University. I spent a year at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy, where I was first exposed to the world of translating and interpreting.

Later, I became a project manager at a boutique technical translation agency, where I was able to learn more about the translation and interpreting industry. I made the leap into the world of full-time freelance work in 2010. Wanting to expand my skillset and services, I obtained a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting at NUI Galway.

My love for my career has led to an obsession for detail and quality. Today, I run my own freelance business and work with clients locally and across time zones.
